FULL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

St. Moritz curriculum is designed to produce knowledgeable, ethical, and competent therapists. It is a comprehensive 650 hour program, offered with both a full time and part time options with a focus on Swedish massage as the core foundational concept. Our massage school curriculum is a well-planned series of courses, each supporting and expanding the learner’s understanding of massage therapy and techniques. The teaching format combines theory lectures, practical demonstrations, facilitated discussions, activities, and supervised massage practicals. Students will gain the knowledge base of anatomy/physiology, anatomy/kinesiology, and pathology to give a scientific base to their bodywork skill sets. Students will learn three different levels of Swedish massage, giving them a complete understanding of all the tools and abilities to be able to facilitate the healing of their guests. Students will also take a thorough ethics and business course to allow them the opportunity to create their own business or work with existing businesses in a professional and ethical way. St. Moritz curriculum also focuses on creating excellent body mechanics and teaching potential therapists the skills to be able to practice this career for a lifetime.
