Here at Saint Moritz Academy, we are preparing for our first class of massage students. It is so exciting to begin to change people’s lives through massage school, but also extraordinarily busy. The commitment we make to every student is real. We take the time to get to know each of them through interviewing and interaction. We want to ensure that they are going into a career that will take them where they want to go in life. That means knowing who they are and what they want. We prepare our lectures with particular care, balancing the need to know with the right amount of entertainment.

The health and wellness industry continues to grow and currently, we are in need of many more massage therapists. A career in massage therapy provides a flexible schedule while paying a living wage. Full-time employment for most massage therapists is only 30 hours a week. The average hourly income ranges from 40 to 80 dollars an hour. It is immensely rewarding to help guests achieve their wellness goals and facilitate the healing of dysfunction and pain. Massage therapists change the quality of life for their guests and do so in a relaxing environment. Massage therapists are in high demand, currently, we do not have enough therapists to meet the current needs of the industry and the needs are expected to grow over the course of the next 5 years significantly.
